Excerpt from the lead article:

We have enjoyed some great club days during January and February, the weather has made for some fun sailing out of Lorenzen Bay. Each club day has seen a new set of enthusiasts, a very warm welcome to all the new members.

It has been interesting to see youngsters who sometimes start out in the day a little apprehensive of this new experience, and who by the end of the day are sailing around with confidence.

The” Learn to Sail” part of the club day is off to a good start, members gathering for a short talk on the rudiments of sailing through Gus using a white board. Members then rig their boats under the watchful eyes of senior club members.

A big thanks to these sailors for giving their sailing time to helping the new comers.
